BMW K1300GT has bigger engine size than BMW G650GS but this is not a direct indicator for more power or better performance. The first bike has the advantage of greater compression ratio of 13:1 than the other one. This ratio is the relation of the volume in the cylinder when the piston is at the bottom of the stroke to the volume in the cylinder when the gas is compressed and the piston is at the top of the stroke. If we have two motorcycles with the same engine displacement but one of them has a bigger compression ratio it will has lesser fuel consumption.
